The Inner Gippsland Area Partnership undertook an eight week intensive co-design program from February to March 2017 to develop fresh approaches to support parents to create an environment where their children can thrive.

Bringing together four teams of key stakeholders from across the four local government areas in Inner Gippsland (Bass Coast, Baw Baw, Latrobe and South Gippsland), the co-design “sprint” exercises are using a range of tools to shake-up more traditional ways of working, helping participants come up with effective, innovative ways to address the complex around improving outcomes for children in the early years.

The co-design process has been adopted to create and test new ideas, solutions and programs to enable our children to thrive, to identify solutions that work to shape future programs, and to develop more effective ways to implement services and supports for local families.
